Ceilings and Trusses Our log trusses are made either for accents, or constructed to carry structural loads. Custom-made to match specific criteria, they are fabricated to exact dimensions and widths up to 40'+, pre-assembled in our yard, and shipped whole, or broken down and easily reassembled at the construction site. We offer full engineering as required by the client. Several options are available, including species of wood, diameter sizes, flat-on-flat or scribed joinery, hidden fasteners or displayed metal components, and finishes. Timber and beam trusses are becoming more popular, and we have the capability to produce a limited selection of this product. Most people do not realize that whole-log trusses are less expensive than timber products, simply because there is no "mill" time or handling. If head space is adequate, ceiling logs can be added as fantastic accents to the room. We can assist you in determining the correct size and spacing for the room so these components appear to "structurally make sense". Floor joists, ceiling rafter, ridge, and purlin logs, in conjunction with log columns and trusses will result in a fantastic transformation of your living environment! Entry systems usually include a truss, purlin logs, and support columns. These components can create beautiful and inviting entries for any structure. |
